How do custom commissions work?

Send a rough idea through the contact form. You'll work directly with the artist on a design, firm price and timeline before anything is cut.

Do you ship, and how much does it cost?

Smaller work ships nationwide, packed by hand. Large sculptures and fire pits are usually local pickup or delivery within Maine.

What materials is the artwork made from?

Reclaimed and recycled metal: propane tanks, saw blades, chain, sprockets, copper off-cuts and salvaged steel.

Will the pieces hold up outdoors?

Yes. Outdoor work is built and finished to live in the elements. Maine winters are the standard we build to.

What are typical lead times?

In-stock work ships within about a week. Custom commissions generally run three to eight weeks depending on size and season.

How do I care for my piece?

Most pieces need nothing more than an occasional wipe-down. Care notes come with every commission.

Can I visit the studio in person?

Yes, the Eddington shop is open by appointment. Reach out through the contact form to set up a visit.

Do you offer gift cards or layaway?

Gift cards are available in any amount. For larger commissions, a deposit-and-installment arrangement can be set up directly with the artist.
